We’ve seen plenty of impressive hotel suites, but the new bi-level penthouse at The London West Hollywood has quickly become one of our favorites. Spanning 11,000 square feet, this suite is the result of a unique collaboration with fashion designer Vivienne Westwood. It’s set to open on Monday and will be the largest suite in LA, a city known for its luxury accommodations.
The suite, named The Penthouse Inspired by Vivienne Westwood, features a Grand Salon with stunning polished stone floors, large corner sofas, custom cabinetry, and luxurious furniture. It’s adorned with Vivienne Westwood-designed cushions and upholstery, highlighted by a large rug in Westwood’s signature squiggle pattern, created especially for this space in a pale blue and teal color scheme.
The suite also boasts two Atriums with oversized skylights and one includes a water feature that flows into a raised pool. Each of the two bedrooms is decorated with Westwood’s unique touch and features deep soaking tubs. The suite includes a media room, living areas, a full-sized kitchen, and a dining room.
The crown jewel of the penthouse is the 5,000-square-foot rooftop terrace, accessible by an in-suite elevator or a private staircase. It offers panoramic city views and can accommodate up to 300 guests. The terrace is designed for entertaining with large daybeds and sofas upholstered in exclusive Vivienne Westwood fabrics. The space feels inviting with its grouped seating areas, including a cozy setup around a fire pit. There’s also an outdoor kitchen with a stone island perfect for barbecues and s’mores.
Guests who book this suite can enjoy exclusive perks, such as a private shopping hour at Vivienne Westwood’s West Hollywood store, special discounts, gift bags, and branded amenities within the suite. Priced at $25,000 per night, it’s a high-end option given its size and features.
For those seeking something more affordable, the hotel is also introducing three new Metropolitan guest suites, each priced at $2,500 per night and ranging from 1,600 to 2,200 square feet. These rooms are part of a $25 million renovation of the hotel.
